DIY | Manly Beard Oil Favors

Today’s simple DIY project is for the guys! Ok, the guys don’t have to make the project… but they will feel super manly (and not girly or crafty) giving these bad-ass bottles to their man-friends. Below I’m sharing a super easy recipe for Manly Beard Oil that takes about 10 minutes to make and ends up costing less than $4 a bottle, score right? You might be thinking that not all of your groomsmen have beards, but they all sure have stubble at one point or another and this oil isn’t just great for the beard. It’s awesome for dry elbows, dry knees and even heels. Who knows, maybe one of your groomsmen will even be inspired to grow a beard just so he can properly use his beard oil, lol. I know, maybe not… but this project is awesome and you’ll feel like a DIY queen because it looks rad and the guys will actually love to use it!

Manly Beard Oil Recipe:

  • 6 oz. Sweet Almond Oil
  • 2 oz. Jojoba Oil
  • 2 mL Buckthorn Extract
  • .5 mL Fragrance Oil (I used Tobacco & Bay Leaf and Shave & A Haircut)

This recipe makes 4 – 2oz bottles.

You can use any carrier oil (sweet almond oil), any skin loving extract (buckthorn extract) and any fragrance oil you’d like… however this formula was created specifically to keep beard hair soft and shiny, while also keeping the skin underneath flake free!

Add + Stir + Pour

That’s really all there is to it! Add each of the ingredients, stir together and carefully pour into the bottles. The beard oil is ready to be used right away. Store in a cool dry place away from the sun, like your bathroom cabinet.

Clean Up

If you got a bit messy during your pour, use a dab of alcohol to clean the bottles before you add the labels.

Print + Cut

Download our darling, free labels at the end of the post and print them onto 8.5″ x 11″ sticker paper. Then cut each one out and apply to the bottles! The great thing about sticker paper is that the entire sheet is one giant sticker – meaning no searching for the exact size labels!
