Something Turquoise Felt Flower Headband Kit With Hazel & Ruby + Giveaway!

If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen me hinting at what I’m sharing today for months now. I’m absolutely thrilled to finally be able to tell you that my very first craft product is now on the shelves at JoAnn’s Fabric & Craft Stores and it’s an adorable, DIY felt flower headband kit that you can make in an afternoon! Hazel & Ruby, a newbie brand to the crafting scene had the brilliant idea of partnering with creative bloggers to start a brand new product line called Crafternoon and I’m honored to be one of them!

This right here is my lifelong dream come true! Standing in the JoAnn’s store in Long Beach that I literally grew up in, holding a craft kit that I designed… I almost can’t believe it! So many things have happened to me in this store… from walking up to shop as a child, to my mom working there part-time and to literally choosing our wedding date from a calendar that was on display – this exact store holds a special place in my heart – so it’s truly an honor to have this product sold in this very store. Don’t worry… it’s also available online!

I’m sure you’re thinking… who is that darling little blonde on the front of Jen’s package? Well it’s none other than my super star niece, Presley. We had so much fun during her “photoshoot”, even Great Grandma Sally stopped by. When GG told Presley, “Maybe Jenni can take my picture too..” – she very quickly corrected her and said “GG, Uncle Mike C. takes the pictures!” LOL – we were dying! After we were finished shooting she made me put the headband on so that she could pretend she was Uncle Mike C. and take my picture. Which she did with an iPhone and even gave me the same modeling instruction as I gave her, such a pro. Seriously this doll rocked it and I wouldn’t be surprised if she lands a real modeling gig sometime soon!

Inside each Crafternoon kit you’ll find almost everything you need (ie. sans the hot glue gun and scissors) to complete a super fun project within an afternoon – hence the name. Each kit also contains a step by step direction card with pretty pictures and if you still need more direction – each blogger created a video of themselves making their project, so you’ll have absolutely everything you’ll need to create your very own Craft Win!

You can find my video here.
