“This is one of my favorite sessions! I loved photographing Courtney and Peter and their adorable dog Lacey. Even though it was a bit chilly on the day of their session, C + P were total champs and complete naturals in front of the camera. The cold gave us an excuse to get out a blanket and have them cuddle by the water to stay warm which resulted in some adorable photographs! Between the card games, DIY Jenga messages, and Courtney’s amazing engagement ring – I fell in love with this session! How did you find your photographer?

We did a search of local photographers in the area and I stumbled on Joy’s website and LOVED her photos. Her stylish shots went right along with the vision I have for PJ and I. It also didn’t hurt that she is very affordable and had a lot of incentives in her packages!

What are you DIY-ing for your wedding?

We are DIY-ing our own votive candle holders in various pink colors and mercury glass. We are also making our own table numbers and signs for the gift table, sweet heart table, and cake table.

What are you looking forward to the most?

Our families have been very helpful in the wedding planning process but it has still been a stressful event. We are both looking forward to our honeymoon, a cruise in the Mediterranean. We can’t wait to soak up the European air! – Courtney, the bride-to-be
