It’s our 4 Year Blog Anniversary!

Wow, four years. I can hardly believe it. That very first post seems like it was so far away and yet at the same time like it was just yesterday…

When I started this blog, my goal was to build a career for myself that fit my two passions; crafting and weddings. I dreamed of… the day that my favorite craft brands would send me supplies for free… the day that I could quit my full time job to blog full time… the day that I would have my very own craft room… and the day that I would have my own wedding craft line. Three out of those four dreams have come true over these last four years and I feel that fourth one isn’t far off, (wink wink).

I say all of this not to boast, but to inspire you on your journey – because if you work hard enough, you can achieve anything. I did not sit around waiting for these things to happen; I plotted, planned and worked until I literally couldn’t work anymore. Many people in my life told me that I couldn’t make a living by crafting; “crafts are hobbies, and hobbies cost money”. To those who doubted, I laugh and say that they were so very wrong. Not only am I making money but I am thriving, I actually just hired my first legitimate employee last week and it feels amazing!

All that being said, none of this would be possible without you! My wonderful, wonderful readers!!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for reading each and everyday and allowing me to share my ideas with you! The blogging community in general is so wonderfully weird and amazing, and I’m so thankful and excited to be a part of it. To be able to inspire you in the comfort of your own home, or actually any place at all since you could easily be on your phone, is almost mind blowing. Cheers to the internet and all the amazing things we have done and will continue to do through it!

xoxo, Jen
