7 Tips for a Sparkling Bridal Smile

(1) Once you have set your wedding date – call your dentist. Make a regular cleaning appointment for six-eight months before your big day and another appointment for about 2 weeks before. Your sparkling smile starts with a professional cleaning!

(2) Whitening is a must!!! Unleash a brilliantly white smile with these awesome new Crest 3D White Whitestrips Luxe Supreme FlexFit. We love their exclusive FlexFit technology design because it stretches and molds to custom fit your unique smile. The strong, no slip grip stays put so you can even talk and drink water while whitening your teeth. One box contains 14 Whitestrip treatments (one upper and one lower) – one treatment per day for two weeks, and should be done within the four weeks leading up to your wedding. GUESS WHAT!?! We are giving away one box below – a $50 value!

(3) Use a whitening toothpaste. Use Crest 3D White Luxe toothpaste to get a head start on your whitening and to keep your teeth white after your whitestrips treatments. This toothpaste is an easy way to glamorize your smile daily. Make sure to use before all your special wedding events from your engagement pictures to your bachelorette party. Gift this toothpaste to your bridesmaids to make sure that their smiles are dazzling as well!

(4) DIY Lip Scrub. We can’t talk about your bridal smile without talking about your luscious lips. Do not use overly abrasive sugar or salt based scrubs on your sensitive lips when you can make our simple lip scrub. Combine equal parts of coconut oil and baking soda in a small beauty container and save for continuous use. Baking soda makes the perfect gentle exfoliant while the coconut oil moisturizes. Massage a small amount onto your lips daily and rinse with cool water to reveal super smooth lips!

(5) Vaseline – the miracle product – has two uses. The first is simple – apply to your lips at night to retain their moisture. The second you may have never heard of; right before any big event dry your teeth a bit and then rub a small amount of Vaseline on them. This does two things – it makes your teeth shiny and also prevents your lips from sticking to them. Models do it for runway shows and photo shoots, so you should do it too!

(6) Drink dark pigmented liquid with a straw! We know you’ve heard it before – but here’s another reminder… for at least the last week leading up to your big day drink any dark pigmented liquid with a straw. This includes coffee, wine, tea and dark sodas – which will ensure that your sparkling smile won’t be dulled by those dark drinks!

(7) Use moisturizing lipstick! Many lipsticks and lip stains can be very drying to your lips – so avoid them leading up to your wedding day. Our favorite ultra-moisturizing lipsticks are Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter ($8), Clinique Almost Lipstick ($15) and Nars Lipstick ($26)
