Steal This Style | boho beach indigo table

Hi Something Turquoise readers! It’s Lauren from Undeclared Panache, I am so happy to be here talking to you about some of the topics I’m passionate about, weddings, beautiful styling, and pretty things…

Summer is officially upon us, and I think we’re all feeling a little beachy. In the spirit of the new season, I thought it only appropriate to draw inspiration for this edition of “Steal the Style” from the laid-back seaside vibe. In this styled shoot featured on 100 Layer Cake, Spread the Love Events not only captured this feeling spot on, but they also incorporated one of this summer’s hottest trends, indigo dye. Ethnic inspired textiles are everywhere, from home, to fashion, to parties, and this look can be captured without traveling overseas or scouring eBay. This look is perfect for the DIY bride or party host, because all you need to achieve this look is a box of indigo fabric dye and rubber bands…

Where to find the items above: driftwood:  Amazon // table runner: Etsy // mercury glass votive holders: BHLDN and JoAnn’s // wine glass: Macy’s // dip dye bowl: Toast / blue salad plate: Pottery Barn // Enamel dinner plate: West Elm // flatware: Anthropologie // buy napkins: World Market or DIY Napkins: Good Housekeeping // driftwood place-card holders: Save on Crafts // lanterns: Z Gallerie

INDIGO 1

If you’re a DIY bride, you can find a super simple tutorial for tie-dye napkins here or if you need a few more photos for guidance, click here.  And, if you’re not a DIY bride, you can find an affordable, already-finished option here.

TIP // In researching this post, I discovered that you can buy driftwood from some unconventional, non-bridal places, like pet stores!  Driftwood is a traditional and natural fish tank decoration.  If often comes in several sizes, but note that it is natural, so every piece is different, and it might not always look the way you hope it does.
