We are beyond excited to share today’s post with you… because it’s The Not Wedding from Cape Cod! We had the pleasure of attending this amazing event back in November of 2013 and we hope that all the beachy brides out there are inspired!!! We sure are…

If you are unfamiliar with The Not Wedding; it’s essentially a bridal show alternative in the form of a big, fake wedding. “Wedding Guests” are brides-to-be who enjoy an emotional ceremony, a tasty dinner and a dance-party reception while truly experiencing the wedding vendors in action!

Yay!!! Do these gorgeous robes look familiar?? Yep – we made them!

Isn’t her necklace to die for?!? All the jewelry is handmade by Argonauta Jewelry Designs.

This table below was our favorite!!! Ohh… and the table itself was handmade by True North Events… isn’t it absolutely gorgeous! They make all types of custom farm tables for rent.

That is our DIY Wedding Cake Plate below; isn’t it darling?!?

Curious about the design of the day? At the beginning of every NotWedding event process, their creative director and guru on all things graphically gorgeous Ashley McHugh creates an inspiration board and distributes it to all the participating vendors; this board is all the vendors have to go off of for the event! All the Cape Cod vendors had the pleasure of working with the pastel-laden Parisian Whites board below. These soft hues where a perfect complement to the sand, sky and sea of the northeastern coastline, making for a sweet, almost wintery feel from the cakes to the centerpieces. **Of course it was our fav because of the turquoise!!!
