“From their personalities to their sweet charm, this couple stole my heart away! Jess & Mike are such a down to earth and fun couple to be around. Their New Jersey wedding next fall is going to be full of rustic detail, a little bit of country and diy projects. When it came time to finding the location for their session, Jess knew exactly what she wanted, we both agreed that Bayonet Farms in Holmdel, NJ would be a perfect place to tie in her rustic wedding theme. The property was filled with barns, old houses with porches and lots of open fields to explore. This location couldn’t have been anymore perfect. I was so glad that I really got to know both of them during their session. The passion that these two have for each other was beyond evident as you can tell.” – Christy Nicole Photography

“We met our photographer Christy through my future sister in-law Kara. She is best friends with Christy’s younger sister. She mentioned that Christy was a photographer and gave me her website. Once I checked it out, I absolutely loved her work. The weird thing is that she and my fiance actually went to the same high school and have a few of the same friends but never really knew each other, they just knew each others names…

..We will be DIY-ing basically all of the decor for our wedding from all the center pieces, benches for our ceremony, an entrance way for our outdoor wedding, place cards, and our favors. Also, our family and friends will be helping with all of our dessert items for our dessert buffet!

..Out of all our wedding plans we are looking forward to our day finally being here. Dancing our butts off to our live band, celebrating with our family and friends… and finally being able to call each other husband and wife!” – Jessica, the bride-to-be

Cocktails make the world go round… so why not serve something a little extra special at your bridal shower, wedding or holiday party! This tastebud tantalizing champagne cocktail is just the thing you need to embellish your wedding toast… or maybe just your afternoon…

To me – it’s all about the color. I encourage all my brides to serve a ‘signature drink’ at their receptions and/or other bridal events. One that matches their party either in theme or in color.

This cocktail is very easy to make as you can see from the ingredients and it’s also very easy to drink! One of the things you need to keep in mind when serving a ‘Signature Drink’ at any wedding event, is how easy it will be to produce – over and over. Also, it shouldn’t be too strong – we don’t want your guests to be trashed before the cake cutting!

Adding a few fresh raspberries and a heaping tablespoon of Raspberry Liqueur like Chambord will make your next champagne toast the talk of the town… cheers!
