Fall is upon us along with the holidays… and if you are looking for an interesting (and very cozy!) drink ~ you’ve got to try this one! It’s a super easy, spiked apple cider with a twist; FROZEN cinnamon and sugar apples!!! These are so yummy and unique that whoever you serve them to will most likely be asking for another…

To me – it’s all about the color. I encourage all my brides to serve a ‘signature drink’ at their receptions and/or other bridal events. One that matches their party either in theme or in color.

This drink is very easy to make as you can see from the ingredients. One of the things you need to keep in mind when serving a ‘Signature Drink’ at your reception, is how easy it will be to produce – over and over. Also, it shouldn’t be too strong – we don’t want your guests to be trashed before the cake cutting! So, this fabulously fall infused cocktail will make the perfect addition to any event that you will be throwing… from your engagement party, your bridal shower or your wedding (possibly even Thanksgiving) this unique drink will be a winner!

The ‘frozen cinnamon + sugar apples’ is what makes this cocktail interesting. Simply line a baking sheet with parchment paper and a layer of sliced apples (buying the pre-sliced bag of apples is an easy choice) then sprinkle cinnamon and sugar all over them; and freeze. Shake three parts of your favorite apple cider to 1 part of your favorite spiced rum (Captain Morgan) in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a glass with 5 or 6 frozen cinnamon + sugar apples!
