real wedding | Nicolas + Tiffany

“Tiffany and Nicolas’ wedding was truly an event to remember. Tiffany, who planned their beautiful day while living all the way in London, chose the beautiful Grayhawk Golf Course, a location she used to work at, as the gorgeous backdrop for their wedding. I fell in love with all the rustic charm and personal touches that she incorporated into their day. And with half of the wedding guests having flown in from France and other locations throughout Europe, it made for such a memorable, fun-filled celebration of their love!” – Ryan Nicole Photography

We LOVE this new tradition of sealing a special bottle of wine or champagne is a wooden box to open and enjoy on your 1st Anniversary! It’s such a fun, interactive activity for your ceremony ~ just be careful not to hit your pretty fingers with the hammer!

“The most memorable moments of the wedding were when we said ‘I do’ and looking around to see our closest friends and family who travelled over 6,000 miles to be there for us!! This was truly special and meant a lot that so many people would travel so far to be with us.

Our friends and family… particularly the French know how to celebrate and really kept the entire night full of excitement. I loved how both of our dad’s gave very heartfelt speeches and both made an attempt to say a few words in French and English… it was so cute!

..The inspiration for our wedding was French, rustic, romantic and DIY. We kept with classic colors, black and white and incorporated simple details such as traditional French tins, wooden wine barrels, chalkboards, white hydrangeas and unique handmade touches throughout.

The centerpieces were hand made by my bridesmaids, sister of the groom, Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom. Nicolas and I purchased traditional French cookie tins when we were traveling in Paris and filled each tin with an array of items including a french/english dictionary (which became very useful for guests on the night!), funky sunglasses, fake mustaches and a disposable camera so our guests could capture photos throughout the night! This added a French touch to our décor and looked great on the tables.

A ‘Here Comes The Bride’ Sign was made out of an old piece of wood by my sister/Maid of Honor, Brittany Potter.

The favors were handmade – we had customized labels and cards made for Hershey kisses and made little bags of kisses for each guest.

The invitations and wedding day signs were designed by Sunny Patel a friend, colleague and designer in London. They were absolutely perfect and I love that the Arizona landscape was integrated into the design. His company is called: SunnyLondonLtd.com

Record Guest Books – We came across this idea one day while wandering through our local Market in London. We chose records that had words that represented us as a couple and I love that we now have memories and notes that can be displayed in our home to remember forever.

Cake Stands and the cake table set up were designed by Mother of the Bride and Made of Honor Brittany Potter.

..Something Old was a set of pearls my dad bought for me when I was a little girl. My mom integrated these into my bouquet – it was beautiful! Something New – My Wedding Dress. Something Borrowed – My Earrings. Something Blue – I had blue ‘ I Do’ rhinestones on the bottom of my heels!
