engagement | Andrew + Jamie
“I personally know the bride Jamie, and was so excited when she asked me to be her wedding photographer! I knew these two were going to really have some great ideas and style when it came to this session. The two of them met in while in school and were friends for a time before they actually started dating. They are so wonderful to each other, and as you can see in these photos, they truly bring joy to each others lives! Picnic’s, wine, the outdoors, and country is very reflective of them. They really are very country at heart so the chic style of cowboy boots in an apple orchard in the hills of California is the perfect blend of Jamie & Andrew.” – Marcella Treybig Photography
“Marcella and I used to wait tables together MANY years ago, and I would always follow her postings on social media sights, etc. and was continually BLOWN away by her work. It was a no brainer when we got engaged last year that she would be at the top of our list for photographers. I knew Andrew and I would feel comfortable being in front of her camera because she was a friend and a professional. We couldn’t be more THRILLED at how our engagement photos came out, and are SO looking forward to the wedding!
..we are DIY-ing as much as we can! We have created vintage chalkboards to use for our programs, menu and sweet signs all along the path from the House to the Barn for our guests to read along the way. We created confetti systems (tissue tassels) and garlands to sawg behind the head table and had stamped and embossed our favorite chevron print on all the place cards in gold…
..the most – we are just beyond excited to be married already! Andrew and I knew the moment we met that we were destined to be together, and after being engaged for 16 months we are overjoyed that the day will finally be here. The second most – we chose Dana Powers House in Nipomo to get that rustic feel we wanted instead of at the beach or at a hotel where we live (Orange County) specifically to create a wonderful weekend for our family and friends. Everyone is traveling up on Friday for a huge BBQ on the beach to kick off the weekend and we can’t wait!” – Jamie, the bride-to-be
