Happy Monday! The talented group from Off Beet Productions is responsible for today’s gorgeous seaside wedding… Erik + Nicole planned a beautiful event with a slight nautical theme. I absolutely love the combination of navy blue and green… and how gorgeous is her dress!

“My father had been saving a bottle of champagne from when I was a little girl, purchased just a year or two after I was born.  When Erik and I got engaged, he gave it to us as a gift and told me he had intended to save it for my wedding day.  At the reception, we popped the cork and shared a toast  with both sets of our parents.  It was a very special moment for us to share that experience with both our families…

I don’t consider myself to have  a creative or crafty bone in my body.  I was great at coming up with ideas but had a tough time figuring out how best to get started.  So, I enlisted the help of some of my crafty friends for help on a few projects.  One of my favorite was our wedding favors. Since Erik and I both share a love for dogs, we decided we wanted to make a donation to the local SPCA.  My maid of honor baked over 100 cookies shaped like dog bones, I printed a thank you and donation message onto white gift tag card-stock and the night before the wedding we assembled all the favors.  I was also really proud of the seating chart as well.  Since our wedding was being held at a historic hotel, we decided to play off that theme for the seating chart, an idea that I had seen on Pinterest.  Using ribbon, I hung each guests name tag with an old skeleton key from a hook I had screwed into cork boards,  They were displayed on a table at the cocktail hour…

ST_advice_for_current_brides

My advice to brides currently planning their wedding is to never be afraid to ask for help.  I was stressing myself over projects and how I would be able to it all done in time.  There are a lot of people willing to chip in and help you, so you need to LET them!” – Nicole, the bride
