I am so excited to finally be able to share my darling friend Jaymi’s wedding with you today! We had to wait to share it here on the blog because it was published in Exquisite Weddings! Will and Jaymi were married at the gorgeous Viceroy Hotel in Palm Springs last summer and they truly DIY-ed every part of this event. Jaymi and her mom Bev, collected antiques and unique fabrics for months… they painted, sewed and stamped this beautiful wedding into existence. My favorite detail was her something borrowed; her mom sewed lace pieces and pearls from her own wedding dress into Jaymi’s – such a personal touch! You might recognize Will and Jaymi from our fabulous My Beloved shoot we did in February… and yes, she is just as sweet as she is gorgeous!!!

What was your favorite part of your wedding day? “The moment after I walked down the aisle and stared straight into Will’s eyes… it was if we were the only 2 people in the world with God looking from above and the sweet voice of Pastor Jack harmonizing in the background…”

What is your advice for brides currently in the planning process? “Don’t let the details, the family, and the coordinating make you crazy, remember all the beautiful reasons you are getting married in the first place. The day of the wedding you just need to release everything and let your coordinators take over — if there are any bumps in the day just remember that everything happens for a reason and just embrace it, what’s meant to be will be. Say a prayer, and let God lead the way!” -Jaymi

Fantastic advice Jaymi!!! I completely agree. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful day with us. xoxo
