Mr + Mrs Hainlen were married in the summer of 2011… and she wanted a reason to get back into their wedding gear. All I could think was ‘valentines is coming… what if we could do something for the blog!’ They were totally on board, I’m sure Jaymi was a little more excited than Will, and they were pretty much up for anything. Talking to them I was instantly inspired by Will’s dark grey suit and decided to pair it with deep reds. Loving the look of high fashion adds, I wanted to keep the overall ‘props’ simple – so we focused on flowers and lighting. Jaymi and I pinned images back and forth for about a week, getting super excited about the overall theme for the shoot – you can check out our board {here}. It ended up being a long but fantastic day and I couldn’t be more excited about the images that came from all our work! Make sure to stop by tomorrow for part two!

This shoot wouldn’t have been possible without the talents of our amazing florist Jacki, our superb make-up artist Abril, and Mike’s adorable assistant Emily. A huge thank you to Will and Jaymi, seriously terrific job modeling – you were absolute delights to work with! Thank you, thank you, thank you.
