DIY | seashell sachet favors

Share this project

Inspired by my week soaking up the sun while camping on the beach… I dreamt up this way to bring a little of the beach home. These beautiful sea shell sachets would be perfect as bridal shower favors. Could you imagine a ‘sachet bar’? Where your guests could make their own organza bag of scents and shells! Love it!

Supplies:

  • pretty organza baggies {mine are from Be My Joy via Etsy}
  • sea shells from anywhere, a few large, a few medium and a bunch of cute small ones
  • aroma beads {mine are from Scentimental Gifts via Ebay}
  • sparkly confetti of your choice.

Start by filling each bag with 1/2 an ounce of aroma beads… then add some confetti…

Next, add smaller shells… a few medium ones, and your large shell of choice. Either a sand dollar, starfish, or other cute large shell.

Make sure you tie your bags so that all the pretty items stay inside.

These adorable sea shell sachet bags can be made in any color…

TIP: If you are making these ahead of time – you might want to enclose the finished bags in large ziplock bags to preserve the scent and also keep it from wafting through your whole house.

That is all there is to it… very easy and very beachy! Wouldn’t this make a fabulous interactive idea for a bridal shower… in the form of a sache bar! Your guests would go crazy!
